Rick Santorum surges to the 3rd place in latest Iowa poll

In the latest poll out of Iowa today it appears that Newt Gingrich has lost some ground dropping to 4th place while former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum has jumped substantially and now holds third place. Mitt Romney is leading currently while Ron Paul holds a close 2nd.

Iowa deck reshuffles again, Gingrich loses ground, Paul gaining

Once again the lead in Iowa appears to be shifting as Newt Gingrich continues to hemoerage votes in recent days. Ron Paul, on the other hand, seems to be mounting for a strong showing in Iowa as Mitt Romney continues to hang on for the bumpy ride.

Cain 2nd in Florida, Bachmann losing senior campaign staff

A new poll of likely Florida primary voters out October 3rd shows businessman Herman Cain only 4 points behind former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Given Florida's decision to move their primary to January 31st, this contest will carry more weight as we move forward.

Ron Paul wins California straw poll, Perry finishes second

This weekend saw a little 2012 movement with the California Straw Poll taking place on Saturday, September 17th. As is becoming a familiar result at events which can be organized for, Texas Congressman Ron Paul won the poll easily while Texas Governor Rick Perry picked up the second place title.
